Frequently Asked Questions

Who do I contact if my member cannot attend?
Please let your member’s program manager know.
Start with your member’s program manager — they know your member best.
Contact your member’s program manager — we’ll work with you to adjust support plans.
Schedule rides as usual and provide the program’s address to Access. Access is familiar with our location. Please note that our staff will not be available to accept drop-offs before 9:00 am.
Members should stay home if they are actively ill. They must be fever-free (without fever-reducing meds) for 24 hours before returning. If a member has vomiting or diarrhea, they must be symptom-free for 24 hours before coming back.
To keep our program accessible to all, our rates are aligned with current DDA Respite rates ($21.80 per hour). Families are welcome to use DDA Respite hours or pay privately. For families using DDA Respite hours, each program day provides six service hours. Our staff works with families during our intake process to determine the best option for them. If you need to revisit how you are being billed or have questions, please contact billing@bridgeofpromise.org.
For each location, we typically follow the local school district’s closures for inclement weather. An email communication will be provided the morning of if a cancellation is necessary.
